IAEA Chief reveals report on Iran nuclear deal

TEHRAN - Head of United Nations Atomic Energy Agency Yukiya Amano says Iran is carrying out its commitments made under a landmark nuclear deal with world powers.

Addressing a news conference in Tehran, he said as of on Sunday, the nuclear-related commitments made by Iran under the nuclear deal are being implemented.

The 2015 accord, signed by Iran as well as Germany, Britain, China, France, Russia and the United States, saw economic sanctions on Iran lifted in exchange for curbing its nuclear activities.

Earlier, the IAEA chief met Iran's President Hassan Rouhani, Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and Iran's Atomic Energy Organisation chief Ali Akbar Salehi in Tehran.
