Gallup Pakistan startling survey on financial situation of Pakistanis 

ISLAMABAD: (APP) According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 67% Pakistanis say that their family's financial situation is better today than in 1970.

Pakistan economy and development praised by IMF

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, "Think about your family's financial situation in 1970 and tell us whether you think your family's financial situation is better today compared to 1970, or was it better in 1970, or is it just the same?"

In response to this question, 67% said it is better today, 15% said that it was better in 1970, while 16% said that it is the same as in 1970. 2% did not wish to respond.
