ISLAMABAD - With a big increase, Pakistan Foriegn Exchange Reserves hist highest level of FY 2019.

According to the weekly report of State Bank of Pakistan link (SBP), foreign exchange reserves of Pakistan are at the highest since June 2019.

The total foreign exchange reserves of Pakistan crossed the $15.5 billion mark reaching a total of $15,577.7 million during the week that ended on November 22nd.

As per the report, the total foreign reserves of State Bank have recorded an increase of $240 million and stand at $8,682.3 million. While the commercial banks have a total of $6,895.4 million of foreign reserves.

At the end of October, the total foreign exchange reserves of the country stood at $15,423.8 million.

The total foreign exchange reserves of Pakistan were recorded at $13,756.8 million at the end of 2018.

Historic Foreign Exchange Reserves

Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves reached an all-time high in 2016. During October 2016, total foreign exchange reserves stood at $24,025.80 million.

All-time lowest foreign exchange reserves of Pakistan were recorded in 1999 when the country had $1,973.60 million in reserves.
