PM Imran Khan gives befitting response to Indian journalists questions

ISLAMABAD - PM Imran khan has given a befitting response to Indian journalists over questing relating to Dawood Ibrahim.

A day after the foundation ceremony of the Kartarpur corridor, Imran Khan asserted the he couldn’t answer for the ‘past’ when questioned about attacks on Indian soil despite signing agreements.

He said: “If I do an agreement, then question me about it".When asked about Dawood Ibrahim he said he wasn’t responsible for the past. He said: “We can't live in the past. We also have a list of wanted in India... It is not in Pakistan's interest to have terror from our soil.”

When questioned about UN sanction against 26/11 mastermind Hafiz Saeed, he said there was a clampdown and the matter was sub-judice, saying he had inherited the issue.

He also said his ‘small men’ tweet, which many had seen as an attack on PM Modi wasn’t aimed at the Indian Prime Minister called it a ‘general tweet’

He also wondered if people were afraid of peace and said: “Why would you be afraid of dialogue?...almost as if there is no intention of peace.”
