Over Rs2b spent on solarization of schools in KP

ISLAMABAD:In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, over two billion rupees has been spent on solarization of schools in the province.
A spokesman of Elementary and Secondary Education Department told Radio Pakistan Peshawar correspondent, that so far about five thousand schools have been converted on solar energy in twenty-two districts.
The spokesman said this will ensure uninterrupted power supply to government schools in the province and at least one million students will benefit from it.
