The United Nations Security Council has adopted a resolution to suppress the funding of terror groups worldwide.
The Council in its meeting at the UN Headquarters in New York, debated the threats to international peace and security caused by terrorist acts.
UN’s counter-terrorism chief, Vladimir Voronkov, hailing the adoption, has said, strong collaboration and targeted efforts are needed to achieve concrete results in fight against terrorism and terrorist financing.
