KP government takes lead in starting online monitoring of exams

HARIPUR: (APP) Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Abbottabad has taken the lead in starting online monitoring of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination through Wifi Close Circuit Television Cameras (CCTV).

This was stated by the Controller Examination BISE Abbottabad Jahanzeb Khan while visiting the different examination centers of district Haripur.

He further said that BISE experiment of annual examination through

CCTV cameras was successful, its results are very positive and also helped to restrict students to avoid cheating.

BISE Abbottabad besides other arrangement of security and discouraging cheating also installed state of the art WiFi cameras in the examination hall of Abbottabad, Haripur and Mansehra city and monitored the examination process in the operation room of BISE Abbottabad.

Board officials disclosed that these cameras were installed in more than 143 examination centers of three cities of Hazara division out of 450 SSC examination centers.

He said that in case of any query or irregularity during the examination, controller examination directly issue directives through the mike which was also installed in examination halls.

As many as 118183 male and female students in all six districts of hazara division are appearing in the examination where BISE Abbottabad has established 450 centers for SSC examination 2017. More than 3000 teachers are performing duties as invigilator and 200 Inspector are also deputed to monitor the examination process.
