Interior Ministry oppose to remove Ayyan Ali's name from ECL

ISLAMABAD: Interior Ministry has opposed to remove the name of Dollar Girl Ayyan Ali from Exit Control List.

 

As per details, Interior Ministry has submitted its written reply on currency smuggling case in SC here at Tuesday. Interior Ministry had been directed by Supreme Court to submit its reply regarding currency smuggling case.

 

Interior Ministry stated in its written response that a notice had been sent to Ayyan Ali for the inclusion of her name in ECL while she had the right to approach interior ministry for review but she did not approach ministry for relief in this regard.

 

Interior ministry requested SC in its petition to suspend the verdict of Sindh High Court to remove Ayyan Ali's name from ECL because it is against law and she is facing money laundering case in the court.
