Pak Army committed to break nexus between terrorism and corruption: COAS 

RAWALPINDI: (APP) Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Thursday greeted the Chinese leadership, people and armed forces on the 89th anniversary of founding of PLA.

Talking to gathering at the Chinese Embassy to commemorate the event, COAS said PLA is most formidable force that reminds power of peoples' unity for which no goal too high, no distance too long and no task too hard.

Pakistan Army and people of Pakistan take pride in our bonds of friendship he said adding affinity of views between China and Pakistan reflects our common vision and shared destiny.

He said China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) a strat game changer not just for Pakistan but for entire region to bring significant improvement in lives of hundreds of million of people.

COAS said CPEC security is our national undertaking, will leave no stone un-turned to ensure its timely completion and uninterrupted success.

He said Operation Zrb-Š-Azb will continue to act vs terrorist of all hue and color.

"Our resolve to break nexus between terrorists, criminality and corruption (is) unflinching."

In their speech, Chinese paid gratitude to Pakistan Army for an indiscriminate and a highly successful Operation to wipe out terrorism from Pakistan and the region.

Chinese also thanked Pakistan Army for creating secure environment for making CPEC possible and then protecting it.
