Pakistan to participate in China Int'l Import Expo being held in November this year

Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jing called on Commerce Minister Parvez Malik in Islamabad today.
Talking to newsmen on the occasion, the Commerce Minister said both the sides discussed ways and means to enhance bilateral trade and Pakistan will participate in the China International Import Expo being held in November this year in Shanghai.
The Chinese ambassador said Pakistan's participation in the Shanghai expo will be as a guest of Honour. He said China is ready to import every Pakistani commodity which can compete the international market.
He invited Pakistani businessmen to visit and explore Chinese commodities. He added that Pakistani investors can benefit from the Shanghai expo and the investment opportunities in China.
He said joint investments will be made with Pakistan's private sector in economic zones. He said Gwadar Economic Zone will provide an opportunity to leading industries of the two countries for more collaboration.
Replying to a question the Chinese ambassador said China will provide maximum concessions to Pakistan and this year new Free Trade Agreements will also be worked out.
He said we are also working to ease our business visa conditions.
He said China Pakistan Economic Corridor will accelerate Pakistan's export and manufacturing capabilities.
