Pakistan Railways starts direct loading from Pakistan Int'l Container Terminal at Karachi Port

Minister for Railway, Khawaja Saad Rafique has said that the Pakistan Railways has started direct loading from the Pakistan International Container Terminal aty Karachi port for reducing the burden of three hundred trucks daily.
Addressing a the high level meeting of the Railways at the Pakistan Railways Headquarters in Lahore on Saturday, he said that the loading of one train will take place everyday, which would lessen the rush of traffic at the Karachi port area and decrease the cost of business.
The Minister said that all the dry ports of the country will be made functional and he would visit the Azakheel Dry port near Nawshera next month.
