Pakistan Squad arrives at New Zealand, meets Mera on way

LAHORE: The Pakistan cricket team arrived in New Zealand Friday morning for five-match ODI series starting from January 6, 2018, followed by three T20 internationals. [image: an image] The team reached Auckland via Dubai after a long-haul flight from Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport. [image: an image] Mohammad Hafeez ran into former India batsman Rahul Dravid during the journey. The all-rounder shared a selfie with ‘The Wall’ with the caption: “Met with a man called THE WALL in cricket RAHUL bhai Im_Dravid he is a great human being always there to talk about cricket & helping u out , honoured to play with him in the Feild & always pleasure to meet U , stay blessed.” The squad also met up with an unexpected guest along the way, Meera ji. Pakistan ODI squad: Sarfraz Ahmed (captain, wicketkeeper), Azhar Ali, Fakhar Zaman, Imam Ul Haq, Babar Azam, Shoaib Malik, Muhammad Hafeez, Haris Sohail, Faheem Ashraf, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Amir, Hasan Ali, Aamir Yamin and Rumman Raees.
