Two policemen killed in Lower Dir

TIMERGARAH (APP): At least three people including two policemen were killed when rivals fired at each other at Rabat in Lower Dir District on Monday.
According to police, the gunmen ambushed the vehicle of councilor Sohail Khan, brother of Jumaat e Islami local leader Shad Nawaz Khan when it was passing through Rabat in the jurisdiction of Khal police station. Sohail was killed on the cene.
The assailants also sprayed volley bullets at policemen constable Wahab and Zubair who reached the spot during the fire exchange. Both the cops also killed on the spot. The killers escaped the scene.
The reason behind the killing of Sohail was stated to be an old enmity. Police have started investigation after registration of FIR.
