FIA arrests terrorist hiring girls for Daesh on Facebook

KARACHI – Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has presented before the court a terrorist allegedly involved in hiring girls for Islamic State (IS) through Facebook. The suspect named Khalil ur-Rehman was handed over by the court to FIA on 7-day remand, reported Dunya News.
According to details, FIA’s counter-terrorism wing arrested the suspect and seized IS flag and literature from him. When presented before the court, the suspect told that he worked for Taliban in the past and now worked for IS.
He also confessed to have made friends with various women with an Id named Afzal Khan and convinced them to join IS. Khalil also confessed to have worked in Islamabad to hire women for IS.
The suspect told the court upon questioning that his group communicated through code words but didn’t know how many people worked for the organisation. Three more people are also being probed in the case.
