Finance Minister reviews progress on FATF action plan

Finance Minister Asad Umar has stressed the need to enhance level of institutional coordination to ensure timely accomplishment of Financial Action Task Force action plan.
He was chairing a meeting to review progress on FATF Action Plan and Asia-Pacific Group on Money Laundering assessment, in Islamabad on Saturday.
The Minister directed that all stakeholders should be advised to develop internal actions plans, which will be monitored on a fortnightly basis.
He also desired appropriate and complete responses to APG's follow-up queries.
