Diamer Bhasha Dam fund: Javed Miandad makes a donation
KARACHI: Former legendry batsman Javed Miandad has made a donation to the Diamer Bhasha Dam fund.
He called on Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar and submitted 0.2 million rupees for Diamer-Bhasha and Mohmand Dams Fund in Karachi.
Miandad also presented him a cricket ball, which was used in 1992 World Cup and had signature of the then captain Imran Khan on it.
The Fund has been established by the SBP on the directions of the Supreme Court.
All the commercial and micro-finance banks, and field offices of SBP Banking Services Corporation have opened the Fund account to receive donations in cash, and through cheques, pay orders and demand drafts at all their branches across the country.
