PTI announces to dissolve KP and Punjab Assemblies

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary General Asad Umar Monday said the party’s consultative meeting at Imran Khan’s residence endorsed the decision to the dissolution of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assemblies.

In an official tweet of the party and Asad Umar confirmed that the assemblies will be dissolved after taking into confidence to the parliamentary parties of both assemblies and Punjab Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi and his son Moonis Elahi.

It is worth mentioning that KP Chief Minister Mehmood Khan attended the consultative meeting and assured the party leadership that he will not delay dissolving the KP assembly whenever he will be advised by Imran Khan.

PTI’s official Twitter account described in a fresh message that the huddle okayed Imran Khan’s decision to the dissolution of Punjab and KP assemblies and the final date will be given after consultation with the parliamentary parties meeting and chief ministers.
