NAB arrests owners of M/S Rifha and Zohaib Associates

PESHAWAR:National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has arrested an accused named Chinar Gul, owner of M/S Rifha and Zohaib Associates and his partner Muhammad Arif allegedly involved in embezzling more than Rs 800 million by cheating public at large under the garb of investments, illegal housing schemes and commercial plaza.

NAB sources informed on Wednesday the accused Chinar Gul alias Hamza owners of M/S Rifha and Zohaib Associates and his partner Muhammad Arif had lured general public to invest in different businesses such as investments, housing schemes at attractive sites in Mardan, Peshawar and shops in commercial projects such as Bajaur Tower Rawalpindi by depicting these projects as lucrative businesses with the promise of huge returns.

The accused persons after lapse of considerable time did not provide any returns, plots and shops to any of the affectee.
The accused person will be produced before the Accountability Court Peshawar for obtaining their physical remand. Investigations are underway and more facts are about to surface besides more arrests are likely to be made.

Affectees are advised to submit their claims to NAB.
National Accountability Bureau requests the general public to be wary of such fraudulent businesses.
