US, N. Korean officials hold talks ahead of Trump-Kim summit

Washington: A US delegation hold talks with North Korean officials at a border truce village amid preparations for a summit meeting between leadership of the two countries.
Earlier, South Korean President Moon Jae-in after meeting his North Korean counterpart said both the Koreas have agreed that the North Korea-U.S. summit must be held.
It may be recalled that North Korea has faced years of economic sanctions over its nuclear and missile programs since it conducted its first nuclear test in 2006.
