ISLAMABAD – Federal Minister for Railways Saad Rafique outburst against NAB reveals that all is not well for him in the Paragon Housing society corruption case.
He lashed out at National Accountability Bureau (NAB) regarding Paragon City case and said that its law is ‘black’.
Holding a press conference after appearance in the case, Saad Rafique said that he has submitted a written reply over NAB questionnaire along with comprehensive details of the assets. He also assured to timely respond to bureau’s further queries.
Whenever accountability in the country is held, its purpose is undefined, he added.
The minister said that his and his family’s media trial was carried out despite efforts and achievements for Pakistan. He revealed that investigation against him has been sped up as elections’ date nears.
Not taken any land, loans or done any favoritism or nepotism, he clarified.
Saad Rafique said that false allegations, lies, political divisions and infighting will cause Pakistan irreparable harm, continuing judicial activism is strong because of the joint efforts of political parties against dictatorships.
He also suggested to decide politicians’ qualifications through elections.
