Bangladesh says it is spending more than 280 million dollar to build homes for Rohingya refugees in the Bay of Bengal to protect them from cyclones.
This has been stated by Bangladesh Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Mohammed Shahriar Alam , in an interview in New York.
He said the step has been taken as the repatriation deal about Rohingya refugees between the neighboring countries has already been delayed.
He also appealed International donors to donate more funds to relocate 100,000 Rohingya refugees. (Reuters)
