KABUL - Taliban group in Afghanistan has mocked the Afghan Air Force use of the first laser-guided bomb on a hideout of the group in western Farah province.

A spokesman for the Taliban group Zabiullah Mujahid called the latest airstrike a “small step”, claiming that the coalition forces did not have any major achievement despite using such sophisticated weapons and equipment in the past 17 years.

However, the alliance led by NATO, calls the use of the first laser-guided bomb by the Afghan Air Force a major achievement and another chapter in the success story of the Afghan Air Force.
