Earthquake tremors jolts parts of Pakistan
ISLAMABAD - Earthquake tremors felt in Swat and nearby areas today. According to details, the epicenter of earthquake tremors was the hilly region of Hindu Kush. The magnitude of earthquake was 4.5 whereas depth was 190 km.
Pakistan jolted with the second earthquake in a day, BOL News reported on 16th June.
According to details, tremors were felt in parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Peshawar, Malakand, Shangla and other areas shook after second earthquake in a day hit Pakistan.
According to the National Seismic Monitoring Centre in Islamabad, the earthquake stemmed from the Tajikistan-Afghanistan border at around (2:21 pm Pakistan time). It had a depth of 223 kilometres.
As the depth of the earthquake was greater, people in the affected area were scared came out of their houses and buildings.
