ISLAMABAD - A throng of bees entered the Riverside Ground where Sri Lanka and South Africa were facing each other in their World Cup contest.
The bees attacked the area around the pitch and the outfield which let the players hit the ground covering their heads to avoid the invasion. Umpires also joined the players as bees took control of the ground for a while. [image: Embedded video] link

According to the reports, the bees were seen only in the outfield and not in the stands as the scenario makes the crowd surprised for some time.
“When players hit the crowd we were like what is happening but later on we see some bees making rounds over teh ground,” a spectator in the stands quoted saying.
