ISLAMABAD – Opposition parties have divided over the decision of All Parties Conference (APC) to remove Sadiq Sanjarani from the post of Senate chairman as several members of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) suggested review.

According to details, Opposition Leader in National Assembly (NA) Shehbaz Sharif chaired a parliamentary parties meeting in Islamabad today.

Sources said that only 66 members are supporting opposition leader in the cause while others are hesitating to participate in no-confidence motion.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president has sought details of those members who were consistently absent in the NA budget session.

Earlier, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Fazl-ur-Rehman said the All Parties Conference (APC) of opposition has rejected public enemy budget presented by government. He said chairman senate would be removed from the post following legal ways.
