Govt expands BISP to Umerkot taluka in collaboration with WFP

The federal government has expanded Benazir Income Support Programme’s humanitarian response in collaboration with the United Nations’ World Food Programme to the drought-striken Umerkot taluka to mitigate food insecurity.
Sindh BISP Director General Riazul Hassan told during a meeting that additional assistance will be increased from four thousand rupees to thirty-seven regular beneficiaries of the area.
