Russia says sticking to de-escalation zone deal in south Syria

MOSCOW: Russian Defense Ministry has said that Moscow had not abandoned a deal on a de-escalation zone in southern Syria.
Russian news agencies reported that announcement came after reports that Russia had supported Syrian government forces in an offensive in the southwest of Syria earlier this week.
