*ISLAMABAD - Supreme Court Deadline set for mobile phone companies to find an alternative tax collection mechanism ends tonight.*
Consumers have been enjoying tax free mobile credit since June 13 after the Supreme Court order.
The cellphone service providers and the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) did not charge the approximately 40% tax on mobile phone top-up cards for two weeks.
It’s uncertain whether mobile phone users will receive 100% credit balance from Friday onwards.
Cellular networks have remained silent on this matter.
