NEW DELHI - India gets a blow from US as India US top level strategic dialogues were cancelled for the second time
U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley says a top-level strategic dialogue with India will take place as soon as possible, after Washington put off the meeting for a second time in months.
She was talking to a foreign news agency today during her visit to New Delhi.
U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Defense Secretary Jim Mattis were due to hold joint talks with their Indian counterparts in Washington on 6th of next month but the United States postponed it last night.
The talks were expected to cover the issues of U.S. sanctions against Russia and Iran, arms sales and trade.
