Sitaram Yechury demands release of all Kashmiri detainees July 28, 2020

ISLAMABAD-Chief of the Communist Party of India Sitaram Yechury has demanded the release of all illegally detained Kashmiris who were arrested after the abrogation of Article 370 on August 5, last year, and were lodged in jails of India and Indian Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Giving details of the proceedings of the two-day meeting of Central Committee meeting, Yechury also called for the restoration of full communications and free movement of people in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The Central Committee meeting of the party was of the view that the situation in occupied territory remains critical even after nearly a year of the abrogation of Article 370 and 35-A.
