Indian Air Force Commander lauds Pakistan PM decision to return back captive Pilot

NEW DELHI - At a joint press briefing being held by India's army, navy and air force, Air Vice Marshal RGK Kapoor welcomed Pakistan's announcement that it would release Indian pilot Abhinandan.

"The IAF is happy and looks forward to his return," he said.

Maj Gen Surinder Mahal, the army's spokesperson, said that the Indian Army is committed to maintaining peace and stability in the region.
