President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Masood Khan has appealed the United Nations to implement its decisions on Kashmir to maintain international peace and security.
Addressing students and faculty at the Oxford University in London, he said though UN achieved its targets in the field of sustainable development, it is showing weakness to solve the long standing issue of Kashmir.
He said India want to crush and block the will of the Kashmiri people who are struggling to determine their political identity and future. Twenty million people of Jammu and Kashmir want to exercise their right to self-determination and take a decision on the accession of their state. Historically, the people of Jammu and Kashmir have always been part of Pakistan and wanted to make, as a whole, Pakistan their homeland.
President Masood Khan said India is violating 2003 ceasefire agreement and its troops are killing civilians across the line of control. UN must stop Indian aggression at LoC.
During question session, AJK President strongly quashed rumours and fabrications about the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and said that it is win-win partnership between China and Pakistan which dates back to 1960s.APP
