LAHORE: Political hype surrounds PSL final, which was earlier today, announced to be held in Lahore. PSL is Pakistan's biggest sports event and already in its second edition has a significant impact in cricketing world.
Shahbaz Sharif, CM Punjab, has offered full proof security to the international players if they come to play in Lahore. In the meanwhile, Imran Khan opposed the idea of holding PSL final in Lahore which according to him is a risk of security lapse, which ultimately would not bring any good to Pakistan Cricket. It is to be mentioned that COAS, Lt. Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa, has promised to pay full support to the PSL final security arrangements. Prime Minister, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has also welcomed the decision of hosting PSL final in Lahore and said that it will be a very pleasing sign for Pakistan cricket if international players do come to play the final.
