Azerbaijan President given unprecedented welcome at Islamabad Airport

The heads of state and governments have started arriving in Islamabad to attend the ECO Summit to be held on Wednesday.
The first to arrive in the capital was the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. He was warmly greeted at the Nur Khan airbase by Minister of Defense Production Rana Tanveer Hussain and other senior officials.
As the visiting president was alighting from the plane, he was presented with a twenty one gun salute.
A smartly turned out contingent of armed forces presented guard of honor was presented to the distinguished guest. National anthems of both the countries were also played on the occasion.
