Shahid Afridi responds to Imran Khan’s call over Kashmir, Shaan Shahid called out other silent cricketers

ISLAMABAD - Former Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi has responded to Prime Minister Imran Khan’s call to express solidarity with Kashmiri people on Friday.

He took on Twitter to share that he will be at Mazar-e-Quaid in Karachi at 12 pm to register protest against Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir.

“Let’s respond to PM call for Kashmir Hour as a nation. I will be at Mazar e Quaid at 12 pm on Friday. Join me to express solidarity with our Kashmiri brethren,” Afridi said adding that he will pay visit to a martyrs home and LOC soon.

Pakistan’s veteran actor Shaan Shahid responded to Shahid Afridi’s tweet and urged him to invite other ‘silent’ cricketers as well.

“Bhai pls bring other silent cricketers as well.. ramiz Bhai, Waseem bhai, waqar bhai , inzi Bhai. Even if they don’t want to talk about the political side of it they must raise the voice for injustice & humanity,” Shaan tweeted.
