NAB Chairman breaks silence over meeting with CJP, rejects media reporting

ISLAMABAD – NAB Chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal breaks silence over the issue of meeting with the Chief Justice of Pakistan.

He said that Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar has not ordered to keep the filing of reference secret, but to keep the investigation secret.

Talking to the media informally on Tuesday, he said that the NAB job is completed after filing a reference in court.

He said that good news about bringing back the money from abroad will soon be heard.

“The Supreme Court is my institution. The meeting with Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar was pleasant,” he said.

The NAB chief said that he would have made the Abbottabad Commission report public if he wanted to do so.
