No compromise on corruption: Info Minister
Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Chaudhry Fawad Hussain has said that the government will not make any compromise on corruption, whether it was done by Asif Ali Zardari, Nawaz Sharif or anybody else.
Talking to private news channel, he said the criticism of Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on the government is aimed at influencing the probe into the fake bank accounts of his father Asif Ali Zardari being carried out on the orders of the Supreme Court.
Replying to a question about treason cases against politicians, he said not a single case of such nature has been registered since the PTI government came into power.
About the Chairmanship of Public Accounts Committee, Fawad Chaudhry said the government will strongly oppose the election of Opposition Leader Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif for the post as it will affect transparent audit of the previous government’s projects.
