Former finance minister Ishaq Dar gets the worst blow

ISLAMABAD - Former Finance Minister Ishaq Dar gets the worst blow from the National Accountability Bureau.

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Thursday has filed a petition in Islamabad High Court (IHC) to sell the assets of former finance minister Ishaq Dar in Pakistan.

The petition stated that the Ishaq Dar is wanted by court and has been declared as an absconder by both NAB and court.

Ishaq Dar is in London since October and has been seeking treatment of an undefined heart complication at a Harley Street hospital and has been declared an absconder in the corruption case against him. Later, red warrants were also issued for his arrest.

Moreover, the petition has demanded permission of IHC to sell all the assets of Ishaq Dar in Pakistan.

The former finance minister is accused of possessing assets disproportionate to his declared source of income.
