China rejects ‘unwarranted allegations’ of election meddling

China has rejected the US allegations of seeking to meddle in the upcoming U.S. congressional elections.

China's top diplomat at the UN Security Council Wang Yi termed the accusations as unwarranted, saying China has neither interfered in any country’s internal affairs nor will do so in future.

Yi's comments came in response to US President Donald Trump's comments at the U.N. Security Council meeting, accusing China of attempting to interfere in upcoming US election against his administration.
