SRINAGAR - Militants killed two Indian army soldiers in two separate attacks in the last 16 hours in Occupied Kashmir.

Security forces martyred two more youth taking their death toll to 10 in the past 48 hours across the Valley.

Lance Naik Brajesh Kumar of 22nd battalion of Rashtriya Riffles (RR) sustained grievous injuries during a fierce encounter with the militants at Malgunipura in Sopore on Friday. He was immediately shifted to a hospital where he succumbed.

“Hailing from Nanawin village in Una district of Himachal Pradesh, 32-year-old Lance Naik Brajesh Kumar is survived by his wife and a daughter,” said Colonel Rajesh Kalia, defence spokesman at Srinagar.
