FATF Action plan: Finance Minister reviews measures

ISLAMABAD - Finance Minister Asad Umar has stressed the need to enhance level of institutional coordination to ensure timely accomplishment of Financial Action Task Force action plan.
He was chairing a meeting to review progress on FATF Action Plan and Asia-Pacific Group on Money Laundering assessment, in Islamabad on Saturday.
The Minister directed that all stakeholders should be advised to develop internal actions plans, which will be monitored on a fortnightly basis.
He also desired appropriate and complete responses to APG's follow-up queries.
