Finance minister directs FBR to ensure sales tax refunds by Oct end

Finance Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar has directed the Federal Board of Revenue to issue sales tax refunds by 31st of this month.
Presiding over a meeting in Islamabad, he said the government is mindful of the problems being faced by the business and traders community.
The Federal Board of Revenue has already paid sales tax refunds amounting to over 27 billion rupees during the current financial year.
