Holy Quran, Bukhari Shareef published in Braille for blind persons

MULTAN: (APP) Chairman United Relief Foundation for Blinds, Qazi Naveed on Wednesday said the organization had published "Quran Kareem" and "Bukhari Shareef" in Braille writing in order to facilitate blind persons.

Speaking at a press conference here, Qazi Naveed informed that the Organization was working for welfare of the blinds. It had distributed different articles including 750 White-Sticks, 20 Talking Weight Machines, 112 MP-3 and others in different cities including Layyah, Sialkot, Gilgat, Kohat, Mirpur, Muzaffarabad, and Nasirabad. "We have published the holy Quran in six volumes and Bukhari Shareef in 66 volumes. The blind can easily understand the holy Quran and Bukhari Shareef," he added.

"Despite limited resources, we have developed Braille Press, Record Studio, Touch Devices and many short courses for the blind," he said.

On this occasion, Israr Nazeer, Aneela Ahmed and others were also present.
