Sikh yatree gets heart stent

RAWALPINDI: A Sikh Yatree who arrived in Pakistan to participate in 549th birthday of Guru Nanak Dev Ji underwent heart surgery here at Rawapindi Institute of Cardiology(RIC).
According to PS Chief Executive Officer RIC, Sajid Mehmood, the sikh yatree Ratan singh was brought to the RIC after he complained of chest pain.
The Yatree underwent a stent implantation of his coronary artery due to an abnormal stress test and now Ratan is out of danger and in good spirits, he added.
He informed that free of cost medical treatment was provided to the Yatree and Punjab government bear all the expenses.
