ISLAMABAD, May 27 (APP): Weather Forecast for next one week
Director General MET office Ghulam Rasool Friday predicted very hot and dry weather which would persist in most parts of the country during next 2 to 3 days .
Talking to a private news channel , he said but after two to three days rain or thunderstorm would turn the weather pleasant in different parts of the country added that there was no chance of rain in Karachi in the coming days but the coastal winds would continue blowing and the temperature would continue remain between 34 C to 36 C.
He said weather in Multan had turned pleasant due to rain last night but dusty winds would continue blowing in the coming days added that these winds would continue blowing next two days as they have taken the sun under their shade and the temperature would be decreased accordingly .
He said the people there were facing problems coming out of the houses due to breathing problems and have covered their faces with masks so that they could be saved from the dusty winds added that despite that they were enjoying their working days pleasantly .
He said weather in Lahore would remain very hot that compelled the students in the educational institutions to move towards caf‚ and enjoying cold slushes with different flavors such as imili, lemon, ilachi and sundal.
He advised all the people to use umbrellas and sunshine glasses to avoid sunshine added that the students have also demanded of the govt to announce summer holidays in the universities and collages like the schools.
"Imli, plum, elaichi and sandal jucies and cold drinks are in great demand ahead of hot and dry weather in the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi also and the shopkeepers were happy over this change of weather as they are enjoying high sale of cold drinks and beverages", he added.
