In Egypt, voting is underway for presidential election today to choose between incumbent Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Moussa Mostafa Moussa.
Polling stations will be open for three days. In early hours of the voting, witnesses said turnout was slow. About sixty million people are registered to vote.
The incumbent president Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, is set to deliver an easy win as main opposition figures have boycotted the polls, complaining of repression.
Security forces were deployed across the country to protect polling booths and armoured vehicles were stationed at several points around Cairo.APP/AFP
