Pakistan to review tax structure to minimise tax burden

ISLAMABAD - Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Revenue and Minister of State, Haroon Akhtar Khan has said that the government intends to review tax structure to minimize tax burden on the common man, reported *Radio Pakistan*.
Speaking at a seminar in Karachi, he said the government's target is to encourage tax payers to come under tax net and to get ultimate objective of more revenue through less taxes with low rate.
The Adviser said that the Amnesty Scheme would be announced before the coming annual budget if the government got green signal from the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
