CPEC to greatly benefit region: AJK President

ISLAMABAD:President Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Sardar Masood Khan says China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project is part of Belt and Road initiative which would greatly benefit other countries in the region.
Talking to an expert of international affairs, Miss Laura Schuurman in Islamabad on Monday, he said Belt and Road initiative is an important project which would bring intercontinental connectivity, economic development and prosperity.
He said India is misleading international community by labeling baseless allegations on CPEC as it is frightened to see Pakistan heading towards rapid economic development.
Sardar Masood Khan said that number of projects on infrastructure development, power generation and establishing industrial Zone have been started in Pakistan and Azad Kashmir under the CPEC. APP/AFP
