Won’t disappoint Imran Khan and follow PTI’s model of opposition: Rana Sanaullah

ISLAMABAD: PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah said on Thursday that a few of his supporters were beaten and told to disappear before the July 25 elections.

“The election results weren’t demoralizing at all as everyone knows what happened and how the pre-poll rigging was done,” Sanaullah said. “It was aimed at sidelining a political party and a leader.”

“Imran Khan would form the government and we will try our best to follow the model the PTI set as opposition in last five years,” the PML-N leader said. “We will not disappoint.”

He said PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif had held a meeting with his brother Nawaz Sharif at Adiala jail and they must have discussed the current political situation in the meeting.

Sanaullah said every institution should work in its constitutionally defined jurisdiction and it was PML-N’s narrative.

“We will consult all the political parties before forming a strategy,” he added. APP
