Hajj 2016: Arrangements finalized to facilitate Hajis

KARACHI: (APP) Federal Minister for Religious Affair and Interfaith Harmony Sardar M. Yousuf said all arrangements have been finalized in order to facilitate Hajis during Haj- 2016.

He was addressing a training session for Hajis held at Haji Camp here on Tuesday.

The Minister stated this year more than 140,000 Hajis (as per quota) would perform Haj from Pakistan.

He said that the Ministry has managed their accommodation at its best in addition to other facilities i.e. transport, medication and luggage carriage.

The Minister said that Hajis flying before 15 Zulqad will directly go to Madina whose accommodation is ensured at Al-Markazia and those who shall fly after 15 Zulqad shall go to Mecca. In this way they could easily perform Haj and pay visit to Roza-a-Rasool (PBUH).

The Minister said for the first time, applications and all necessary documents, booklets relating to Haj are placed at website of the Ministry.

Hajis now can easily download these from the website on their mobile sets.

He urged Hajis to behave well while performing Haj, as they were considered ambassadors of their country as well as bring good name to their country.

He assured the Hajis of good services to the utmost during Haj and requested them for prayers for Pakistan and Muslim Ummah.

The Minister expressed satisfaction over the training of Hajis arranged by the Haji Camp at Karachi.
